Research Activities and Acheivements

It has always been an endeavour of the department to develop clinical research facilities in GMC & Associated hospital Doda which could later be translated into diagnostics for serving the downtrodden and needy patients of the area.
Basic and collaborative research with clinicians on various disease processes is started in the Department. Department is also going to do molecular & translational research in collaboration with various institutions of state and across country.
In a well-planned manner this department has persistently aimed to develop research activities in this newly established Medical College for the patient care. Untiring efforts will be led to substantial research project funding from key agencies to do biomedical research which is a costly affair.

Generation of Extramural Funds

  • Centre of excellence in Diagnosis: Focus on Clinical Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Submitted to ICMR for Funding
  • To study the comparative study on lipid levels in the diabetic and non diabetic patients Submitted to DST for Funding.
  • Training workshop: Title of the Workshop Biochemical laboratory techniques Scantioned for Funding.
